Service

FixMyPassportPhoto is a web-based software service operated by French Connection Limited, Hong Kong. It offers free automated estimates informed by published U.S. passport photo requirements. Optional one-time print preparation provides a 600×600 JPG for a 2×2 inch print and a six-photo 4×6 inch print sheet. The files are not certified for online renewal. For online renewal, submit your original unedited camera photo to the official system and use its own positioning and cropping tools.

Independent service

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for the U.S. Department of State or any government. We do not guarantee acceptance. The U.S. Department of State makes the final decision on every passport photo.

Check limitations

Automated estimates are not official approval or a human expert review and may miss problems. We cannot authenticate identity, when a photo was taken, or whether it is AI-generated, retouched or beautified. Passing our checks does not establish compliance. Even passing the official system's initial checks does not replace its subsequent staff review.

Your responsibilities

• Use only a photo of yourself, or of a person for whom you are legally entitled to submit an application.
• Use a real, original camera photo taken within the last six months that accurately represents the applicant, without AI generation, filters, retouching or beautification.
• Review the official requirements, the whole-head guides and the prepared preview. Confirm a front-facing neutral expression, closed mouth without visible teeth, visible eyes and no glare, shadows or obstructions.
• For online renewal, submit the original unedited photo rather than treating our print output as certified. For printing, verify physical dimensions and print quality; we cannot validate your printer's output.

Payment and delivery

The price shown on the website and at checkout is the full one-time price. Payments are processed by Stripe. Digital files are delivered in the browser after successful payment.

Cancellation and refunds

Digital files are delivered immediately after payment. Our 14-day dissatisfaction refund and rejected-photo refund apply as set out in the Refund Policy. Nothing in these terms removes any mandatory cancellation, refund or other consumer rights under applicable law.

Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for a claim relating to the service is limited to the amount paid for that order. This does not exclude or limit liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
